File server moving... oh and a random video

Tonight our file server (being hosted by the wonderful Chris at Clear Carbon) will be moved. I'm not too sure how long this move will take so I apollogise in advanced. It should only take a few hours and then everything will be back as it was.
On another note; I know I shouldn't really post this on the main page, but as some of you noticed I didn't think the Shadow of the Day video worked. So me being me decided to remake it to a song that fitted much better. Let me know what you think!

Chester Broke His Freaking Wrist On Stage!
Posted by
Jaxxy on 19 Oct 2007 08:54 pm
I heard about this a day or so ago but wasn't sure about posting it! Chester broke his wrist on Sunday during a concert in Melbourne. There is a video posted on the linkinparktv channel on youtube with backstage footage not long after he broke it (
link).
I'll be honest with you lpfusers, I'm fairly squeemish! The video did make me feel sick although there is no footage of the actual incident! Chester a bone in his wrist and I have gone one better and broken both bones at my wrist and I tell you this honestly...it hurts like a bugger! How he managed to do the show is beyond me! I almost passed out watching the video because I remember how ridiculously painful it was! I seriously had to go lie down! I wish I had my x-ray though! You know it's bad when your doctor shows your x-ray to one of their colleagues and they go "Holy Sh*t!"
So Chester....You're amazing! We all love you! Take pain killers! <3

EDIT: Here's a clip of when he did it...HOW DID HE CARRY ON?!?!?!

Shadow of the Day Video

Click here to see the new Shadow of the Day video. As always post your thoughts in the comments.
I have to be honest, while I like the video, it's more of a distraction than a compliment to the song. The sound effects are over the top, and just where does the video fit to the song? It's almost like a dark version of From the Inside except not excuted quite as well.
There's probably some quite nice meanings behind the video, however I'm pretty nackered today. I loved the WiD video, but Bleed It Out and SotD haven't done much for me. All the meteora videos were amazing... what's happened here? I think to be honest that this video was designed with a different song in mind. Imagine this same video, but to No More Sorrow. That would work. That could be really cool.
Anyway thanks to Hahninator and Colin Reid for the link.
Busta Rhymes / Linkin Park collaboration
Posted by
Jaxxy on 12 Oct 2007 07:24 pm
Busta Rhymes has made a song with Linkin Park for his new album (due out in December). The song is called "It Looks Like We Made It".
I couldn't find any information about the collaboration other than it was produced by Cool and Dre and Busta says:
“It feels like Rocky won the fight or something, it reminds the people who are successful to go and help those that haven’t been so successful, and represent the unity between people. This song speaks volumes to the globe — it ain’t just about the ‘hood, it ain’t just about the suburbs, it’s about everybody. This is one of those songs that can’t be described better than touching the souls of the common people.”
So that will be interesting! I have no idea how it's going to work! Will it be along the lines of LP/Jay-Z? If anyone has any more info about it contact us at lpfuse by using the submit news thing on the right ----->

Hey all, sorry we've been so quiet. I'm not sure about the rest of the staff, but for me this is down to university. I'm now in the 3rd year of my course and I've got a lot of work being thrown my way and also a lot of bills to pay. Looks like my final project for this course will be developing a game on the xbox360, but I've got lots of other geeky assignments going on. I'll do my best to keep you up-to-date and as seen Jon & Jaxxy seem to be back posting news :)
In the world of LP things are starting to prepare for the release of the Shadow of the Day single. We'll get you up to speed shortly. Sorry for the downtime.

People injured in Projekt Rev Mosh Pit.
Posted by
Jaxxy on 29 Aug 2007 10:01 am
I read an article today that says 10-15 people were taken to hospital last night after being injured in the Projekt Revolution mosh pit at the NY State Fair. The most serious injuries are thought to be broken limbs.
Check the article here. Were you there? Leave a comment. Was there a lack of crowd management or was it just general mosh pit madness? I have a friend who broke a leg in a pit at Reading Festival but the pit wasn't in "pandemonium".
If you were injured, get well soon. I hope it doesn't put you off going to Projekt Rev again!
BIO UK Chart Update

Jaxxy on 27 Aug 2007 01:12 pm
Bitter sweet chart update for you all! Bleed It Out reached 29 on the UK charts last night. Slightly disappointing I think but then I guess there hasn't really been any promotion of the single in this country that I've seen. Understandable as they've been on Projekt Rev.
Singles Chart. However, if you look at the
top 40 rock singles BIO is number 1 and WID is number 4! So that's not bad!! And Minutes To Midnight has climbed a few places on the
album chart.Let's hope it will climb up the charts next week! Do you guys think it was the wrong time to release it and perhaps they should have done it when they had more time to promote it here in Europe? Or do you guys think the trend is to promote albums and tours more than singles as this is where the real money is made? Leave some comments!
Oh p.s. have a look at this chart blog review of BIO! It made me smile! Songs with handclaps are cool!!
